General Information on Consumer Privacy
Dear customers, the Trendy-mama.com e-shop would like to thank you for the trust you have shown us and pledges to take all the steps necessary to protect the information you are required to provide in order to complete your order. Katkyn s.r.o. uses all of the information obtained from customers exclusively for the internal needs of the company and does not provide any data to third parties. External carriers (such as mail couriers) are considered an exception. We provide external carriers with only the personal information necessary to ensure a trouble-free delivery of the ordered product. All customer information is maintained in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic, as amended.
We regard your privacy as confidential and inviolable, thus we treat your personal information in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Under no circumstances shall we release obtained personal information to third parties (except to the GLS Slovakia courier company, in the extent necessary to deliver the ordered product). All information is stored in a secured database with authorized access.
- All employees who come into contact with your personal information have been properly instructed on how to handle them correctly and responsibly.
In order to be able to provide professional services, we require certain information.
- Registration is not required when buying from the trendy-mama e-shop. You only need to enter your information once during your order.
- We only gather the information that is necessary to process your order (you can find a list of the required information below).
- We do not misuse telephone numbers for marketing purposes. We shall only contact you in the extent necessary for the management and delivery of your order, or in the case of a product return or repair claim.
- We do not send unsolicited e-mails. We only use your
e-mail to send you a receipt for your order and information about the status of your order.

- When paying through the Internet using payment systems, you enter all of your information to your bank's secure pages.
- We do not come into contact with your private payment information. We are informed by e-mail or text message whether or not your transaction was successful.

Purpose for Processing of Personal Information
- Entering into a purchase agreement with the buyer via the internet store located on the www.trendy-mama.com website.
- Issuing of a tax document – invoice, in accordance with Act No. 222/2004 Coll. on value added tax, Section 71 (2).
- Customer record management.
- Record of orders, in the case of possible product return or repair claims.
- Delivery of the product and customer identification prior to delivery of
pre-paid products. - Confirmation of acceptance and the acceptance of the order, payment for the product, and delivery of the ordered product – via e-shop, telephone or e-mail.
- Sending of electronic newsletters, if the customer signs up for this service during registration.

Requirement to Provide Personal Information
The seller only gathers the personal information required to fulfill the obligations that the customer is expecting of the seller by ordering a product. The customer is obligated to fill in all of the necessary information during the process of ordering a product.
Providing Personal Information to Third Parties
The seller shall not provide the personal information to any companies managing databases of personal information, or any third parties other than in the extent necessary to deliver the product to the buyer via an external carrier:
- General Logistics Systems Slovakia s.r.o., Company ID: 36 624 942. Personal information provided – name of the buyer, the address of delivery, telephone number, the total price of the product in case of a cash on delivery shipment.
- Slovenská pošta, a.s., Company ID: 26 631 124. Personal information provided – name of the buyer, the address of delivery, the total price of the product in case of a cash on delivery shipment.
In special cases, a different carrier company may be chosen to deliver the goods. Given the individual nature of such a decision, we are unable to provide the name and seat of the given company.
Disclosure of Personal Information
Katkyn s.r.o. shall not disclose any of the gathered personal information.
Disposal of Personal Information
Katkyn, s.r.o. stores all personal information acquired in accordance with Act no. 122/2013 Coll. and the archive time limits are based on Act no. 108/2002 Coll. consumer protection in the case of door-to-door sales and mail-order sales, as amended, and Act no. 431/2000 Coll. on accounting, as amended. The disposal of personal information shall be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Slovak Republic. The buyer may withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal information at any time in writing. Consent will expire within 1 month of receiving the buyer's withdrawal of consent and the data shall then disposed of.
Rights and Obligations of the Person Concerned
The buyer is required to provide complete and true information. Upon written request (letter, e-mail), the person concerned has the right to request:
- Information about the processing of their personal information.
- Information about the source of their personal information.
- Information about the personal information that is being processed.
- Correction of incorrect, incomplete or outdated personal information that is being processed.
- Disposal of their personal information.
The person concerned may exercise their rights under Section 17 of Act no. 122/2013 Coll. in writing by e-mail to our e-mail address (info@trendy-mama.com) or personally at our the registered office: Katkyn, s.r.o., Račianska 88 B, 831 02 Bratislava Nové Mesto, Slovak Republic. All legitimate requests of the person concerned shall be met and the person concerned shall be informed within 30 days of receiving the request.
If the person concerned is not of legal age, their rights may be exercised by a statutory representative.
If the person concerned is deceased, their rights may be exercised by a close relative.
If the person concerned suspects that their personal information is being unduly processed, they may submit a claim to initiate the procedure for the protection of personal information.
Accuracy of Personal Information
- The liability for the inaccuracy of the personal information falls to the person who provided this information in accordance with Article 16 (1) of Act no. 122/2013 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended.
- The operator ensures that the personal information is correct and accurate.
- All personal information is considered correct until proven otherwise.
E-shop Information System Registration
The operator of the www.trendy-mama.com e-shop has an information system used to process the personal information of its clients/customers. The system is registered with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, in accordance with Act No. 122/1313 Coll.
